GTA 5 is one of the best open-world games that Rockstar had made after their widely popular predecessor GTA 4. Which came out in the fall of April 2008 starring Niko Bellic, an Eastern European ex-soldier. GTA 5 is a widely popular game that came out in 2015 and still continues to be one of the most played AAA titles on Steam. The whole process of engaging with a cop to losing is like a mission in itself. First, you have to start shooting at the NPCs and Police cars to increase the Wanted level. Then either steal or call your own personal vehicle to start the chase. Losing cops successfully grants you RP but if you get busted, your vehicle will also get impounded by the cops.

Steps to get your car back in GTA 5 Online

1. First, step out of your apartment and get yourself a ride. Now you have to take someone else's ride.
   Because taking out a new vehicle from your own garage will result in destroying the existing vehicle that had been impounded by the cops. So take any other means of transport except your own vehicle.

2. Mark your impounded vehicle's location by Pressing M on your keyboard. Then select the location of your Personal vehicle and drive there. The Impounded Area is located in Davis.

3. Once you reach Davis, step on the footpath and stand near the Impounded Area gate.
Now there are two ways to get your car back. The first and the recommended move would be to pay the 250$ fine. And get your car back safe and sound without any cop intervention.

Or on the other hand, you can go to the back of the compound. Climb the wall to try and steal the vehicle. In the second approach, you will have a wanted level on you. It is recommended to pay the 250$ fine to avoid issues.

4. Once you have paid the 250$ fine, the gate will open. You have to walk to your vehicle and drive it out of the compound carefully.
